Summary
The electricity supply of Whapmagoostui / Kuujjuaraapik is currently assured by a diesel power plant. This project was created based on the need for an alternative to this diesel power plant. The primary objective of the projet is to produce electricity for both communities by combining local sources of sustainable energy. The plant will have a total installed capacity of 2.4 MW with 3 wind turbines.
