Summary
The proponent wants to set up a batch-processed, mobile concrete plant. The project will provide concrete for the Galaxy Lithium Mine Project, located near the proposed site. The Société de développement de la Baie-James currently holds an exclusive lease for this site. The proposed site is already set-up to accommodate this type of facility and has a source of raw materials – water, cement, aggregates, and admixtures – accessible on site. Water will be pumped from a lake located southwest of the site or, if necessary, will be drawn from the Eastmain River and transported to the site by tanker truck.
