Summary

For the Sirmac project, the proponent would like to conduct the bulk sampling of 50,000 tonnes of ore for metallurgical testing. The project will involve rock blasting and excavation work using a hydraulic shovel. The project design does not include a storage area for waste rock or overburden because the rock will be transported offsite for processing. The project site is located about 100 km northwest of Mistissini.
