Summary
The project consists of constructing a 12.4 km Class 4 access road, 7 metres in width, on the territory of the Cree Nation of Nemaska. The proposed route will cross trapline N20 and connect to kilometre 149 of the Billy-Diamond Highway. Its construction will involve deforestation, the installation of 21 river crossings and the construction of a bridge. This project is part of the development of the Cisco Lithium project. The construction of this road is intended to reduce the environmental footprint of exploration activities, improve operational efficiency and lower project-related costs.
