Environmental and Social Impact Evaluating Committee (COMEV)
The Environmental and Social Impact Evaluating Committee (Evaluating Committee or COMEV) is an advisory body composed of members appointed by the governments of Quebec, Canada and cree nation, which is responsible for the review of the preliminary information provided by the proponent located south of the 55th parallel, including Category I and II lands of Whapmagoostui, in the territory governed by the James Bay and Northern Quebec Agreement (JBNQA).
