Summary

By this project, the proponent wants to stop the erosion occurring along the shoreline of Champion Lake, specifically the shores bordering the community of Nemaska, to protect existing and future infrastructure, to ensure the long-term safety of users and to improve the appearance of the natural living environment. The proponent also indicates that protecting the silty clay-based shores would reduce turbidity and improve the water quality of Champion Lake. The proponent wants to protect two eroded segments of the shoreline by regulating the toe of the slope with rockfill.
